God has a very simplistic understanding of life and death:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>You are alive when you can hear his spoken voice. Or,<\/li>\n<li>You are dead when you cannot hear his spoken voice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>This is very different, of course, from man\u2019s understanding of life and death which is about life and death of the natural, human body. Their literal interpretation of the Bible leads them to apply this human idea of life and death to scripture. This is what leads them astray. They do not understand that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\/literal-or-symbolic-interpretation-part-1\">God\u2019s always speaks in parables.<\/a>\u00a0 Nor do they understand that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\">God\u2019s written word and his spoken word are not the same.<\/a>\u00a0Religion is what people create when they fail to recognize these truths about God.<\/p>\n<p>People always need to be mindful of the fact that God always introduces spiritual truth through references natural truth. This is the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\/literal-or-symbolic-interpretation-part-2\/3\">first the natural and then the spiritual<\/a>\u201d principle. When they come to understand this principle, they will see that God uses man\u2019s understanding of natural life and natural death to introduce his idea of spiritual life and death.
