To appreciate this relationship, it is also helpful to know the following:

Genesis was written around 1400 BCE.

The Enuma Elish was written between 1900–1600 BCE.

The Egyptian Creation Myth was written around 3100–2686 BCE

The significance of these historical facts is that the Babylonian and Egyptian myths predate Genesis by at least several hundred years. This is important to know because ancient Israel lived in the social, religious and political context of both Babylon and Egypt and would have been very familiar with both religions and their respective myths.

This information is useful, however, only to disabuse people — especially Jews and Christians — from the belief that Genesis is an original, unique, factual, historical, report of the beginning of the universe and world. The truth is that the authors of Genesis borrowed some of the imagery (see words and phrases in bold in articles above) found in the Egyptian and Babylonian creation myths when they wrote Genesis. This was a reasonable thing to do because Israelites were familiar with those myths and because those images were similar to the dreamlike visions they saw when they heard God’s voice speak to them about creation.

It is critical to acknowledge that Genesis is not just a myth modeled after themes found in Egyptian and Babylonian creation myths. While Genesis does contain some of the imagery found in those earlier myths, it should not be interpreted as just another pagan religious myth. It must be interpreted with respect to the biblical symbolism found elsewhere in the bible.

It is impossible to learn about God and his ways without understanding that symbolism. The complicated truth about the miracle of creation is found in that symbolism.

A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF THE MIRACLE OF CREATION
Most religious people interpret Genesis to be primarily about the miracle of God creating heaven, earth and man. This is a totally wrong interpretation that focuses on the creation of physical things in human time.

There is nothing about a literal interpretation of Genesis that can be applied to any generation of human beings. Considering Genesis as history rejects its symbolic meaning and eliminates the opportunity to be personally corrected and trained for righteousness by it. A literal interpretation of Genesis also ignores the “first the natural, then the spiritual” principle that must always be applied to bible reading. This theme is introduced in Genesis and reported again and again throughout the bible.

Understanding of creation begins with the knowledge that the heart is the main thing that God is concerned about. That does not mean he is indifferent to matters of the physical world, but it means that God intervenes in the physical world of human affairs by changing (i.e. recreating) the hearts of people who cause trouble for others because they do not listen to God’s spoken voice. When God’s laws are written on hearts, behaviors change. This is what it means to be created in God’s image.

People with changed hearts obey God’s commands about how to relate to one another and how to do justice for others. When this happens, conflict is reduced, religion declines, and people live at peace with one another.

Peace emerging from chaos and conflict is a Genesis theme that is important to recognize. It can be seen by people who understand that Religion is the Enemy. Everyone else will interpret Genesis in terms of a miracle of creation of the natural world. These interpretations are as different as spirit and flesh.

Jews and Christians have great difficulty understanding God’s focus on the spiritual — not physical — heart. The problem for humans is that we live in the physical world and are trained to use our natural senses to conduct our human business — including religion. This fact makes hearing God’s spoken voice difficult for humans and God.

The challenge for man is to unlearn the physical interpretations of the bible and replace them with spiritual truths found in the symbolic meanings of the bible. This challenge is discussed in detail in the following links:

God’s Written Word and God’s Spoken Voice Part 1

God’s Written Word and God’s Spoken Voice Part 2

Symbols, Signs, Types, Parables, Allegories, Copies, and Shadows

Bible History

How to Hear God’s Spoken Voice

Literal or Symbolic Interpretation Part 1 of 3

Literal or Symbolic Interpretation Part 2 of 3

Literal or Symbolic Interpretation Part 3 of 3

The book of Genesis plays a unique role in establishing human interpretations of spiritual matters. Even for highly trained religious teachers, a spiritual miracle is necessary to erase the imagery of the physical creation story and replace it with a spiritual, non-physical interpretation. The Genesis story is so vivid and seems to answer so many important questions about the beginning of the world that it colors everything else Jews and Christians read in the bible.

Literal interpretations of Genesis have inspired an an ongoing debate about how the physical world was created. Scientists have opinions and theories about the beginning of the universe that Jews and Christians steadfastly refute with the literal words of Genesis. There is no middle ground in this debate. Either you believe the literal words of the bible or you accept scientific evidence. Either you believe in biblical creationism and physical miracles or you believe in evolution and science. These concepts are as different and unreconcilable as spirit and flesh.

For most Jews and Christians, belief that the world and man were created exactly as reported in Genesis is as firm and resolved as belief in God and Jesus. This belief is so strong that it influences religious beliefs about physical miracles performed by God and men. There is an attitude that says that if God can create heaven and earth out of nothing, he can change any aspect of the physical world and will do so if people pray for him to intervene to use his awesome power to do those kinds of miracles. This thinking is at odds with the fact that God does only one kind of miracle.

A NEW COVENANT LOOK AT CREATION
New Covenant disciples interpret the creation story as a Symbol, Sign, Parables, and Allegory. The do not interpret it as literal truth of how the world and universe were created. One of those secrets is found in the following scripture:

Ecclesiastes 1:8-10 KJV: 8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. 9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done : and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said , See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

COMMENTARY: Readers who bother to click on “things” and “utter” in this scripture will learn that they have been poorly translated from the original Hebrew word (i.e. Dabar ). Dabar has two slightly different meanings (Dabar 1, Dabar 2), but they both are about speech and words.

The word translated as “utter” can also be translated as “promise”. With this insight we can see that God’s speech, or words (including words reported in the bible) are not new things at all. Applying that principle to the Bible, we can say that whatever God speaks of or promises after Genesis has already been told in the creation story. With this analysis in mind, Ecclesiastes 1:8-10 can be rightly translated as follows:

All of God’s words are difficult to understand; man cannot explain them: the eye is not satisfied with what it reads in the bible , nor the ear satisfied with what it hears from religious leaders. 9 The words of God that have been written in Genesis, have the same meanings as the words, stories, parables and allegories that are written elsewhere in the bible; the stories told in Genesis are the stories that are told again and again in the bible: there are no new stories, allegories, or parables that are different from the story told in Genesis. 10 Is there any of God’s words in the bible whereof it may be said. They work at interpreting God’s word but all they receive for their attempts to understand is empty, literal interpretation because they do not have spiritual eyes or ears to interpret the bible symbolically.

Verse 9 says there is nothing new under the sun. When we consider that the sun is a symbolic representation of God, we can interpret this verse to mean that God and his words do not change.

The application of this scripture to creation in particular is that the creation story is in introduction to, and summary of, everything that follows in the Bible. In other words, after the Genesis, there is nothing new under the sun. The story of the Bible is told here first in parable form and then repeated in various forms in other stories. The thing (i.e. God’s spoken word) that “hath been” and “is done” in verse 9 is the creation story in Genesis. That which “shall be” and “shall be done” is the rest of the Bible.

MORE COMMENTARY: Bible literalists have not yet come to accept that Jesus might have used a parable to tell the creation story just like he spoke all other truths. It seems that they somehow see the creation story as an exception to the principle that Jesus always spoke in parables, and/or they have somehow come to believe that the way God speaks in the Old Testament is different from the way that Jesus always spoke. That thinking would be totally inconsistent with Ecclesiastes 1:9-10.

Considering that Jesus’ words are not his own but come from God, we must conclude that God also only speaks in parables. That fact should control how people interpret the creation story: it is a parable — not literal facts.

In holding on to their traditional beliefs about creation, Bible literalists confirm the truth of Ecclesiastes 1:8. In other words, they know the letter of the law but they do not know or understand the spirit of the law (i.e. New Covenant).

Finally, Peter exhorts readers to grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus. Grace is a code word for New Covenant as we report in Faith, Grace, Mercy and Peace.

Since the time of clear, plain understanding has not come for readers who neither trust nor understand the Old Testament, they are forced to defend their arguments with the limited information the Bible provides in parable form to explain creation, the rest of the Garden of Eden story, and indeed the entire Bible. They are like little children who will see in a glass dimly until they put away their childish ways. In their self-righteous adherence to the literal law, they appear to the world like foolish, fundamentalist, religious wannabes while they receive sought-after praise and encouragement from their like-minded brethren.

The way we see it, no minds are changed in this ongoing debate where the creationists end up preaching to the choir which is only too glad to pay (i.e with money or praise) someone who is willing to tell them what their itching ears want to hear. It is just another example of Commercial Religion combined with Displaying Righteousness Before Men.

PHYSICAL CREATION vs SPIRITUAL CREATION
The creation story is among the most iconic images in the Bible. Even those who do not consider themselves to be religious recognize Adam and Eve and the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Because of this awareness, it is not surprising that creation is one of the hottest topics for debate between those who take the Bible literally and those who do not. It would not garner the attention, however, if the Christian zealots did not make it a religious issue.

The way we see it the, creationist zealots are all wrong. They insist on picking fights they cannot win because they are stuck in Old/First Covenant religion where the letter of the law is all that they understand. As we said, we will not enter the debate because it is not worth debating — at least not in the terms that religionists have employed in their side of it. However, we will here give our own interpretations of what God intended to communicate — not just about creation as a singular event in time, but about the spiritual world in general.

This series of pages is dedicated to showing that Creation and the Garden of Eden stories are parables that preview everything else we read in the Bible. They go way beyond the creationist’s simplistic, literal interpretations of natural creation to expose deep spiritual truths about spiritual creation found throughout the Bible. As God gives eyes to see, readers will come to see new, life-giving truths in a very old story. Our hope is that readers will be able to apply those Biblical truths to their own lives, and that they will learn from our example of how to dig for spiritual truth in difficult scriptures. We also hope that any readers who may have been involved in the creation dispute in any way will repent for their involvement and redirect their efforts for more profitable pursuits.

Another hope we have is that readers will learn is God’s pattern of giving a prophetic preview of coming attractions is something he often does through parables and prophets in words and stories that are always mysteries that challenge our understanding. If anyone would want to research this pattern of forecasting, we think they would prove that there is no Bible story that is told only once. The actors, circumstances and dates, may change, but the story is always the same. Here is our condensed version of the major theme of the Bible:

<colgroup>
<col width="50" />
<col width="650" />
<col width="0" /></colgroup>

God made a covenant with all people.

People break their part of the covenant.

God disciplines the people for breaking the covenant.

People cry out for help from God and repent for breaking the covenant.

God forgives the people and restores them to covenant fellowship.

The way we see it, the creation account is the first time this basic Bible story is told. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and that from birth you were called a rebel.

Most readers will reject any suggestion that the creation story is not simply about creation of the physical world. Christians especially like to think that they have the inside track on the truth because they have the New Testament, but the above scriptures from Isaiah tell us that the Jews had it all from the beginning also. Not that it did them any good, however, because they, along with Christians, are still stuck in Old/First Covenant religion.

Setting aside rebelliousness for a moment, we understand why Christians and Jews are stuck in an Old/First Covenant, literal interpretation of the creation story. The story is a deep and confusing parable that introduces the rest of the Bible. We also understand that the ability to understand these deep truths depends on two factors: God’s willingness to reveal truth; the presence of hard, calloused hearts that are so conditioned to literal truth that they cannot acknowledge or accept spiritual truth.

Why God made the creation story this way is a mystery to us. We speculate, however, that it is like he knows rebellious people will not understand from one telling so he tells it again and again, speaking first in vague parables and then following with real life examples of Bible characters. In each telling, however, it is basically the same story of sin, bondage, deliverance and new life. But even though this clear pattern exists, many do not get the meaning because they cannot read between the lines to get the Spirit of the stories. All they focus on is the literal words which tell the real story in natural terms. Failure to see through the natural to the spiritual is part of the curse of being an Old/First Covenant believer.

GENESIS AS PROPHECY
A close look at the Genesis story reveals that it forecasts multiple, Biblical, re-creation examples of God’s redemptive work in his people. This model of revelation bumps up against our training to view everything in linear fashion where one event follows another in a logical time sequence. It also conflicts with our training to interpret scripture like everything else we read: Literally.

While Biblical events do sometimes follow in logical order, more often than not they are not in order. That is a problem with which we need to wrestle throughout the Bible. It is just another example of our ways not being like God’s ways and we need to learn his ways so that we have knowledge to evaluate our hearts, minds and behaviors with respect to obedience to his ways.

Understanding the Bible is not like reading novels or technical documents which have order to them that creates foundations on which succeeding truths are built. That linear pattern is not clearly evident in the Bible. Biblical truths are scattered throughout the Bible in ways that appear totally random to human understanding. They are scattered, as we said in Assemble the Puzzle, across a huge table in random order, and our job is to do the work of assembling those truths. To make it even more challenging, it is not a simple, two-dimensional puzzle. It is a puzzle that has at least three, and perhaps more dimensions.

Once we accept that Biblical events are not necessarily reported or organized in forms that we can readily understand, we might be able to also accept that the events of Creation and the Garden of Eden are the basic model (i.e. shadows) of everything else that follows in the Bible. It is a story of God redeeming and recreating people who have been born into a world of dark emptiness. And God uses the imagery of creation of the physical universe to tell the spiritual story of deliverance and redemption through the Messiah.

Even though the story is first presented in Genesis in obscure imagery (e.g. darkness, light, deep, etc.) God has conveniently laid it out in linear terms (i.e. first day, second day, third day, … seventh day) that should help readers understand — provided they can see beyond the literal story to the spiritual message. But, although the sequence of days in creation are quite straightforward, the process by which God delivers his chosen people from sin is not so clear and ordered. Much reading between the lines for spiritual truth is necessary to see the spiritual patterns, and it is absolutely necessary to connect and relate scriptures located randomly throughout the Bible together in order to see the patterns of the puzzle. It is a lot of work to solve this mystery, but God has given assurances the mysteries will be revealed for those who will dig their own spiritual wells.

In this website we have done a little digging, and we have given some guidance on how to dig and where to dig in STUDY. But there is still much work to be done for readers who want to develop that skill for themselves. Looking at the creation story in all of its complexity is a good place to begin because it is the beginning and because it contains references to the sequence of days of spiritual creation (i.e. re-creation) that are repeated and explained often throughout the Bible. The First Day, for example, is about bringing order out of chaos; the Third Day is about death and resurrection, and the Seventh Day is about New Covenant rest. This will only make sense, however, to those who are willing to make the effort to keep reading and digging to the degree that they will see and understand bible symbolism instead of the literal bible.

We hope that the creationists would agree that the facts of the creation of the physical universe are much less important than the spiritual messages that are discovered when digging. That God created the physical heavens and earth is not unimportant, but it is less important to God and us than the fact that we are, or at least can be, new creations in God’s image. Moreover, if we can be recreated into God’s image, why would we want to bother at all with the facts about the beginning of the natural creation of heaven and earth — unless we want to display our righteousness to others through quarreling about disputable matters. That opinion may not make much sense to readers now, but it will become clear for people who have spiritual ears to hear and spiritual eyes to see. It will not make sense, however, for people who see and interpret what they read and hear with only natural, intellectual understanding.

Once readers accept that God is always speaking in ways that can only be understood with spiritual eyes and ears, and not through natural, rational interpretation, it becomes possible for them to investigate the deeper, spiritual meaning of the creation story. They will hear and read words of which they know the meaning in their worldly culture, but which do not make spiritual sense until they study the deep symbolism of the story and reconcile it with other teachings in the Bible.

UNDERSTANDING OLD COVENANT AND NEW COVENANT IN THE CONTEXT OF CREATION
Although it appears obscurely in the symbolism of the creation story, the concept of “covenant” is introduced in the book of Genesis. Since this concept is not well understood in these modern times, we strongly recommend reading Old/First Covenant and New Covenant before continuing with this series of pages.

This theme is developed more fully in The Tree of Life and The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. These trees are introduced early in the bible as examples of pure religion and defiled religion, where The Tree of Life symbolically represents Pure Religion which is also equated to the New Covenant and the Promised Land. We further demonstrate that Defiled Religion is symbolically represented by the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil which is also equated to the Old/First Covenant. With that introduction, we will offer in the following pages what we see as legitimate spiritual interpretations of the parable of creation story.

Because it is very difficult for people to understanding any spiritual concept that disagrees with, or is not included in the package of scriptures with which they have been indoctrinated by their chosen religion, we will present our commentaries on creation verse by verse. This blindness to spiritual truth is an example of the “foreign tongue” phenomenon which makes it all but impossible (unless God intervenes) for religious people to understand New Covenant truths. It is also an example of a spiritual stronghold in which people are like prisoners who are unable to escape the power of teachings of false religions in which they have ignorantly, but willingly, submitted to deceptive doctrines established by men.

Despite those limitations, readers will immediately notice that our interpretations do not agree with the conventional, Christian interpretation of creation as being a literal, seven day process in which the natural heavens and natural earth were created. This does not mean that we disagree with the interpretation that God created the natural heavens and natural earth. It does mean, however, that we think the natural interpretation has much less to say about God, his ways and his relationship with people than the alternative interpretation we will present here. It means that, in our opinion, the symbolic interpretations of the creation parable are much more important to our understanding of the God of the Bible than the literal interpretation.

APPLYING THE “FIRST THE NATURAL AND THEN THE SPIRITUAL” PRINCIPLE TO CREATION
By now, some readers are saying, “So what is the big deal about deconstructing the creation story? Isn’t it enough to know that God created everything?” To that question we say, “It is enough if you are an Old/First Covenant believer, but it is not enough if you are a New Covenant believer.” This statement will sound like double-talk to people who do not know the difference between the two covenants. And the way we see it, this describes most people — Jews and Gentiles alike.

In their ignorance of the two covenants, people are also ignorant of the fact that the difference between the two covenants is very important to God. Therefore, everyone who presumes to care about the things that God cares about will do well to study Literal or Symbolic Interpretation: Part 1 and in Literal or Symbolic Interpretation: Part 2. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

COMMENTARY: When God said the natural came first and the spiritual followed. He was not talking only about the examples cited in the passage, He was also making a point about how He works in general. If that is correct, then He would be faithful to follow that pattern in how He reveals Himself in His word. It is important, therefore, to apply this principle when studying the Bible. And the way we do that is by reading the natural (i.e. literal) word and then asking God to reveal the spiritual understanding to us.

So, what is the pattern? We think it is found most clearly in these two statements in verses 44 and 46:

“… if there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. ”The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.”

The truth of this pattern is clearly observed in his word. It begins with a report of the natural creation of things and then moves to a report of the spiritual order of things. Consider Genesis 1:1-2:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Obviously we think that the creation story is the first place in the Bible where this “first the natural and then the spiritual” principle appears and is applied in the Bible. This principle, along with 2 Timothy 3:16 convinces us that there is much more to Genesis than a simple story of creation.

If these are not convincing arguments for symbolic interpretation, here are several other reasons why we think a study of creation like we have presented is important:

<colgroup>
<col width="100" />
<col width="700" />
<col width="0" /></colgroup>

It is an exercise in how to study the Bible by looking at word definitions and considering several scriptures to get to the meaning of one scripture.

It is an example of the mistakes we make by accepting traditional Biblical interpretations without verifying them independently.

It makes the case for rejecting rigid literal interpretations of the Bible in favor of investigating and identifying the spiritual meanings by comparing scriptures in one place (e.g. the creation story) with related scriptures elsewhere in the Bible.

It begins to open up an alternative understanding of the environment in which Adam and Eve lived. For example, it is hard for Christians to accept that early men and women mated with close relatives. If there were other natural men and women on earth at the same time Adam and Eve were created, this puzzle is solved.

It establishes the pattern in which God takes a natural man and recreates him into a spiritual man. Recognizing this pattern opens our eyes to repetition of the pattern elsewhere in the Bible and in our own lives.

These will not be regarded as important issues to people who are comfortable and secure in their traditional religious beliefs. Obviously we disagree with that view, and we think God also disagrees. Failure to allow for alternative interpretations of the Bible may be a badge of righteousness to rigid Bible literalists, but to God it is only a sign of a hard heart and Old/Covenant thinking. In God’s words, these are rebellious people who can see only with their natural eyes but not with their spiritual eyes.

IF IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE
We are prepared for the fact that what we have written about creation will not make sense to everyone. In fact, we are prepared for the fact that what we have written will actually make many people very angry. No problem for us! It is all God’s problem because when people are able to see and hear with spiritual understanding is up to God.

No doubt there are many different reasons why God chooses to give understanding to different people at different times. But, as we read the verses in the following scriptures, we get some clues about the reasons God does not give revelation to some people. After all, the essence of the Bible is not about physical creation or history. It is all about how God does his creative work in the hearts and minds of people. That’s it!

The truth is that the potential for training in righteousness exists only in the symbolic interpretations of creation. The truth is that there is no potential for training in righteousness in the literal interpretations of any scripture — including creation. Whether God created the natural world and heaven or not is useless information compared to correction, rebuke and training in righteousness that is accomplished through symbolic interpretation of Genesis. If a scripture does not convict people of sin and turn them from religion, that scripture has not been interpreted correctly.

Those who subscribe to a literal interpretation of creation pride themselves on giving credit to God the the power he has to create the natural heavens and earth. In taking this attitude they shame themselves for failure to recognize him as the God who transforms evil, impure hearts to clean pure hearts. This is a glaring omission since people created in God’s image are his crowning creation and greatest representation of his glory.

CREATOR
Genesis 1:1-28,31 ; We (i.e. Authors) must admit that we also were surprised to discover so many different scriptural trails to be followed to come to the conclusions we have represented for readers to consider.

After all of our study, however, we need to be careful making claims that we know exactly what God meant by the creation story — or any other parable in the Bible for that matter. That caution applies to readers as well as authors. Nevertheless, we use the resources God gives us to search out matters. Then, maybe, if God is willing, mysteries will be revealed.

The caution to teach responsibly falls heaviest on religious leaders who presume to share what they see as truth with others. Failure to do all the research before teaching, therefore, is a very serious sin because religious leaders with wrong or incomplete information presented as unquestionable truth run the risk of misleading others who have a habit of accepting what a religious leader says is truth beyond question. Such teachers are blind guides leading themselves and the ones they teach into a pit. That, we would say, is exactly what has happened to those who have taken a literal interpretation of the creation story.

The caution for readers is that they should not take what we (i.e. Authors) or anyone presents as absolute, unquestionable truth. If you are stuck in a pit because you have followed a blind guide, blaming the guide does not get you out of the pit. The only responsible thing to do is to use the resources available to you to do your own research and make your own conclusions. You must do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. You cannot depend on others. When God gave his Spirit to New Covenant disciples, he empowered them to learn about himself directly. If we believe what God says, therefore, we believe that the Holy Spirit will teach us and that we have no need for anyone else to teach us. Since most readers are not experienced in doing their own study, however, we have provided ideas of research techniques and resources in STUDY

With respect to creation, we have given readers a lot of ideas on what can be studied to get to the truth. We hope that we have been thorough in our own research and accurate in reporting it, but we are willing to allow that we are among those who are able to make mistakes as reported in James 3:1-2.

UNDERSTAND DAYS
We have said in many ways that the creation story is very difficult to interpret symbolically. A major reason for that difficulty is the fact that it is laid out in a sequence of days that seems to progress logically from day one to day seven. This language creates an indelible image of God creating heaven and earth in one, seven day week. While this understanding is predictable and logical from a human perspective, it does not accurately represent what was created (i.e. transformed) or the sequence by which heaven and earth were transformed.

Despite what the literal, Biblical creationists say, the correct way to handle God’s references to “days” in the creation story is to interpret them as divisions of time, a lifetime, or a time period. Interpreting Genesis literally in terms of a succession of twenty-four hour days is a big mistake religious people make that affects their perspective of the bible from Genesis to Revelation. Once again, applying human logic to bible interpretation is always a stumbling block for anyone who wants to correctly handle God’s word.

STUDY TIP: See Time: Hours, Days, Weeks and Ages for understanding of how to interpret biblical references to time.

IT’S TRANSFORMATION, NOT CREATION
Most people, especially Jews and Christians, will be shocked to learn that the so-called creation story is not about a one-time historical, event in which God created the physical heaven, physical earth and everything in the physical universe.
