ARROGANCE
There is a kind of person who is pure in his own eyes. These are Old/First Covenant religionists who justify themselves in their own minds, and in the eyes of other religionists, who pursue righteousness by doing religious works. They do all these religious things in full view of others so that they can receive praise from other religionists.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.
