TRIBES
To understand the division between Jews and Christians it is helpful to look at them as two tribes. We know a little about tribalism from our study of the twelve tribes of Israel. And we have learned much about tribalism by observing historical tribal conflicts between Sunni and Shiite Muslims.

Within each of these major tribes there are many sub-tribes that make up the world of religion. Each of these religions is a man-made religion with it own set of rules. They are all at war with each other in their efforts to establish their own unique kingdoms.

In God’s kingdom, there is no room for tribes — large or small. Therefore, God is in the business of tearing down all religious kingdoms by calling his people out of religion so that he can establish his own kingdom in the hearts of New Covenant disciples.
