Religious Rituals and Traditions: Circumcision, Baptism, Communion ***

GOD HATES ALL RITUALS AND TRADITIONS
1 Corinthians 7:18-19 and Galatians 6:12-15 say, in effect, that it does not matter if someone is physically circumcised or not, and that the only thing that matters to God is if people obey his spoken word (i.e. his spiritual laws). This only happens to people whose ears are spiritually circumcised.

If this can be said of a physical act that has such prominence in the Bible, it can also be said of all other religious traditions that are acted out in the flesh. That is why God said very clearly that he hates traditions and festivals. That means that he hates the following religious traditions:

  • Christmas
  • Easter
  • Sunday Worship
  • Circumcision
  • Baptism
  • Singing
  • Congregational Leadership Councils
  • Jewish Sabbath
  • Receive Bible teaching from pastors and rabbis
  • Religious weddings
  • Religious funerals
  • Prayer meetings

When these and other religious traditions are removed from Judaism and Christianity, there is nothing left. And that is exactly God’s point. He wants people to come out of religion and only worship him in spirit and truth in their hearts.
