The Bible says that it is for freedom that we have been set free. It also says that we are free from the law of sin and death. The scripture that says we are free from the law of sin and death also talks about not being subject to a yoke of slavery and makes a point about receiving circumcision. It is good to understand that the yoke of slavery is symbolic language for religion and that circumcision is symbolic language for all types of religion that are conducted using the flesh, or body, in some way.
When we put it all together, we interpret these scriptures to mean that New Covenant disciples have been set free from the sin of religion that brings death to Old/First Covenant religionists.
The Bible always uses the word “love,” as in “love your neighbor as yourself” to show affection and care for someone. Furthermore, the Bible encourages us to show a “greater love for our friends.” Sharing this post with another is an expression of “greater love.”
