This discussion is a kind of “catch all” for anyone who is not religious —  regardless of their history. It may include people who were formerly religious as well as those who have always been agnostics, atheists, or skeptics. Regardless of how they got here, people in this category are in the growing population of what researchers call the “nones” which means that they are not currently affiliated with any religion. 

Possible reasons for people commenting in this forum are to share how and why they made the transition from being religious to having no religion, or why they never were, or never will be, religious.
