It is never pleasant, but it can be a good thing in the long run if the experience causes us to think and act differently. If we do not change, however, humiliation just feels bad and may leave us bitter and angry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This is how it is with God. If we respond well to humiliation\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(God calls it discipline), it can produce a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=hebrews+12:5-10;+romans+5:3-5;+james+1:2-12\">harvest of righteousness<\/a>. If our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=ezekiel+11:14-21;+jeremiah+24:7;+jeremiah+32:38-39;+ezekiel+18:31;+ezekiel+36:24-27;+psalm+51:10;+ezekiel+11:19;+john+3:3;+john+3:5;+2-corinthians+5:17\">hearts are changed<\/a> because of God&#8217;s discipline, we will become a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\/the-law\/the-law-is-a-stumbling-block\/signs-wonders-and-miracles\/5\">new creation<\/a>. However, if our hearts are not changed, we continue in a life of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/religion\/religion-is-sin\">sin<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/sickeness-disease-blindness-and-deafness\">spiritual sickness<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Other Biblical words related to humiliation are\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/time-hours-days-weeks-and-ages\/end-times-rapture-and-tribulation\">tribulation<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/death-resurrection-life\/two-deaths\">death<\/a>.
