We see this principle introduced in the Garden of Eden where there are two kinds of trees: Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0 this point it is absolutely necessary to understand that this narrative does not refer to natural trees as is commonly assumed by people who interpret the Bible literally. Actually, the two trees are symbolic representations of two kinds of voices to whom people may listen.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Tree of Life is a reference to God and <a href=\"https:\/\/website-03399378.phw.pfz.mybluehost.me\/hear\/competing-voices\/true-prophets\/\">true prophets<\/a> who speak with God&#8217;s voice and authority.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is a reference to all <a href=\"https:\/\/website-03399378.phw.pfz.mybluehost.me\/hear\/competing-voices\/false-prophets\/\">false prophets<\/a> who speak for themselves out of their own imaginations &#8212; not for God.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>It is also absolutely necessary to understand that the fruit of these trees is not natural fruit (i.e. apple) as is commonly assumed by people who interpret the Bible literally. Actually, the fruit is spiritual fruit and there are two kinds of spiritual fruit. The fruit of the Tree of Life is good spiritual food.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\u00a0<strong><a id=\"goodspiritualfood\"><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Good Spiritual Food<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=matthew+4:1-4;+deuteronomy+8:1-3;+luke+4:1-4\">Comes directly from the mouth of God.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">May be served (i.e. spoken) by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/people\/true-prophets\">true prophets<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Food that God provides supernaturally through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/1-corinthians\/passage\/?q=1-corinthians+2:1-15\">power of his Spirit to spiritual people.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/psalms\/23.html\">eaten in God\u2019s presence at the table God sets <\/a>in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/place-where-god-will-place-his-name\/4\">heart<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=job+33:4;+ezekiel+37:14;+john+6:63;+romans+8:11;+1-corinthians+15:45;+2-corinthians+3:1-6\">Gives life to the spirit.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/1-corinthians\/2.html\">God\u2019s wisdom <\/a>revealed to the hearts of people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Results in positive spiritual growth that results in increased <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=jeremiah+31:31-34;+hebrews+10:15-17;+hebrews+8:7-13\">obedience to God\u2019s commandments and in increased ability to know God intimately<\/a> and understand <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\">mysteries<\/a> hidden in the Bible.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It is only available to New Covenant disciples who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\">listen to God\u2019s voice.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=1-corinthians+2;+isaiah+64:1-4\">cannot be seen or heard with natural eyes or ears<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/1-corinthians\/2.html\">cannot be replicated or manipulated by human teachers because it is spiritual<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It cannot be manufactured, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/proverbs\/23-23.html\">bought or sold<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It requires no human mediator to teach it or explain it, but True Prophets can teach people how to access it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/passage\/?q=psalm+34:8;+psalm+119:103;+hebrews+6:1-5;+1-peter+2:1-3\">tastes sweet, good<\/a> like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=psalm+19:7-11;+psalm+119:97-104;+deuteronomy+32:1-13;+psalm+81\">spiritual honey<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/nas\/passage\/?q=psalm+23:1-3;+psalm+19:7;+2-timothy+3\">nourishes the spirits of New Covenant disciples and leads them to righteousness.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/breadfood-and-wine\/3#treeoflife\">fruit<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/passage\/?q=proverbs+3:13-18;+proverbs+11:30;+proverbs+15:4;+revelation+2:7\">trees of life<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>And the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is evil food which God forbade who practice and promote <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\/the-law\/5#religiouslaws\">religious laws<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is always served by false prophets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Can be seen and heard with natural eyes and ears.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Can be produced, packaged, replicated, transported, bought and sold by anyone.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is a source of spiritual death because it does not feed the spirit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It tastes good and feels good while producing and consuming it, but it does not feed the spirit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Only feeds the soulish flesh of men (i.e. it makes them feel good and righteous).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is created by and served by false prophets and religious leaders for the consumption of religious people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Is typically distributed commercially through some form of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/religion\/religion-is-not-faith\/religion-is-commerce\">religion.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Always seeks to advance, protect and preserve religious interests \u2014 especially the interests of religious leaders.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Looking back at the creation story, we see that the New Covenant, is the renewal of the covenant relationship that existed before Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The New, or more accurately &#8220;renewed&#8221; covenant was necessary because Adam and Eve, who had the perfect relationship with God, still chose to practice religion. It looked good to them so they tried it. But they did it at the cost of their perfect relationship with God (i.e. they died a spiritual death). The New Covenant, therefore, is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/rsv\/passage\/?q=isaiah+6:5-10;matthew+13:13-15;mark+4:11-12;john+12:40;acts+28:26-27\">spiritual\u00a0healing that results\u00a0when man&#8217;s relationship to God is\u00a0restored as prophesied by\u00a0Isaiah.<\/a>\u00a0Here is a rough outline of what happened:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Adam and\u00a0 Eve sinned by eating of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/symbols-signs-types-copies-shadows-and-patterns\/breadfood-and-wine\/3#treeofknowledgeofgoodandevil\">Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil<\/a> (i.e. they chose the path of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaywesee.com\/religiondetoxnetwork\/mystery\/gods-written-word-and-gods-spoken-voice\/the-law\/two-covenantspart1\/5#puredefiledreligion\">Defiled Religion instead of the righteous path of Pure Religion<\/a> (i.e. The Tree of Life).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/search\/?q=forgiveness+blood&amp;c=&amp;t=niv&amp;ps=10&amp;s=Bibles\">God covered (i.e. forgave) Adam and Eve&#8217;s sin with the blood of the animal sacrificed to cover their shame.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/romans\/passage\/?q=romans+5:12-17\">Ever since Adam and Eve, people have been predisposed to sinning by choosing sin.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The one factor that makes hearing God&#8217;s voice most difficult is the noise of competing voices.
